Grossmunster
With its two famous towers exalted above Zurich's Old Town, the medieval Grossmünster (Great Minster) is Zurich's most visible landmark. According to legend, this gothic cathedral was founded by Charlemagne & and is dedicated to the three patron saints of Zurich - Felix, Regula, and Exuperantius. It was completed in the 11th century, and it has been added onto many many times, most recently in 1932 when magnificent stained glass windows where added atop the choir loft.
