Great Church in Zurich

Here at things to do in Zurich we like to seek out churches when we travel. The Great Church is very impressive and a landmark on one part of the Limmat river with St. Peter's on the other side. It has a great history with the church's construction starting on the site in 1090 and completed in 1230.

Tip: You can pay a small fee to climb the narrow steps up to the top of one of the two towers. From there, you get wonderful views of Zurich.
