Fraumunster

Fraumunster, also known as Church of Our Lady, is located just off the Bahnhofstrasse. It's a protestant church and it was originally built in the 13th century, but it has been renovated and expanded many times after. Why visit? Because it's one of the few churches that has retained its Romanesque choir stall & because it also boasts lovely, moving stained glass windows by Russian artist Marc Chagall. The later was added on in the 70s & you'll discover that the Fraumunster church hosts a beautiful combination of architectural styles.
